Two members of the senior management team at Court Enforcement Services have been recognised in the 2022 edition of the Credit 500 index published by Credit Strategy.

Director, Wayne Whitford, and Head of Client Development & Communications, Neil Jinks, have both been recognised as two of the most influential people in the consumer and commercial credit industry by being included in the index.
Wayne is included for the sixth consecutive year and Neil is included for the first time. Both Wayne and Neil are longstanding fellows of CICM and well known to many of their industry peers.
Wayne is a founding director of Court Enforcement Services with over 30 years of experience within the enforcement and debt recovery sectors. He is well known for being the company’s client champion who ensures clients receive individual attention and the highest levels of customer service.

Neil joined the business two years ago to enhance its marketing and communications strategy and to focus on strategic client development. He works with several other organisations supporting the creditor community including CICM, IRRV and the CCUA.
Wayne said: “I’m delighted to be recognised by the Credit 500 again. The index includes so many influential people, many of whom I have worked with over the years, and many are my friends in the industry, so it truly is an honour to be included alongside them all.”
Neil said: “I am delighted to join Wayne on the list for the first time as he has been a great role model and mentor for me. I see my own inclusion as an acknowledgement of the time I have devoted to supporting the industry with training on debt enforcement as well as my various roles supporting our industry’s professional bodies.”

The new index lists the most influential people in consumer and commercial credit in 2022. The list comprises of individuals exerting senior influence in a credit-related role across financial services, utilities, telecoms and the public sector.
As well as featuring individuals who set or influence policies for credit risk, credit management, collections and recoveries, debt advice or vulnerability, it also highlights those responsible for sales, business growth, lending volumes and product design within lenders, as well as service providers to creditors.
The index is based upon industry nominations that show individuals meet the following criteria:
- A level of influence in their organisation or profession.
- Demonstrated best practice.
- Been recognised for their work (through award programmes).
- Helped to educate their peers through content, speaking etc.
- Advocated the promotion of their profession.
Nominations are finalised by Credit Strategy’s editorial team in conjunction with a board of trusted advisors.
The Credit 500 ‘Hall of Fame’ has also been published this year covering all editions of the index since it was first introduced.
