Deadline 17th February 2019 for responses to MOJ’s call for evidence survey – review of enforcement agent (bailiff) reforms
Review of Effectiveness of the Tribunals, Courts & Enforcement reforms – introduced in 2014
As you will be aware, the Ministry of Justice, has launched a call for evidence as part of its review into the effectiveness of the Tribunals, Courts & Enforcement reforms that were introduced in 2014. Court Enforcement Services will be submitting a response and the advice sector will be using the call for evidence as a further opportunity to influence governments policy on enforcement, particularly enforcement of debts owed to central and local government.
A response can be submitted by completing an online “survey”, which takes 20-30 minutes to complete. The survey does not have to be completed in one sitting. The deadline for submitting a response is 11.59 PM on the 17th February 2019.
The survey can be found here.
If you wish to ensure that the views and perspectives of creditors are heard, then I would urge you to take the time to submit a response.
Thank you.
