Happy New Year from Court Enforcement Services – Wishing you a much brighter year in 2021!
I wanted to take the time to thank you for your support during 2020 and reflect on what has been a challenging year for us all and look at what 2021 might hold for us.
Since the coronavirus pandemic hit the UK, we have all been forced to change the way we live our lives, this has included major adjustments to the way we work. Spells working from home, social distancing, video calls replacing face to face meetings and wearing face coverings at work has become the new normal and despite the challenges that each adaption brings, our team have all quickly adjusted and continue to do an exceptional job.
Prior to the initial National lockdown and throughout the pandemic, we are proud to have led the way in enhancing our processes in line with legislative amendments and communicating the changes and their implications to our clients and suppliers.
Our team have demonstrated exceptional versatility to quickly alter procedures, processes, work patterns and tasks to ensure that there has been minimal impact on our ability to work as near to business as usual as possible. Our offices have been converted to COVID safe workplaces and through e-learning platforms and guidance we have been able to demonstrate COVID safe ways of working for staff and Enforcement Agents which has facilitated a safe return to work.
Despite the difficulties presented by the pandemic we have still had a number of notable achievements during 2020.
In October 2020 we received from the Ministry of Justice the High Court Writ Volumes for 2019, which, showed a market share gain for the fifth year running making us the fastest growing company in the High Court enforcement sector.
In 2019 our writ volumes increased by 29% on our 2018 numbers and continues our positive year on year growth since our formation in 2014. In the last three years our writ volume has grown by 194%.
The market as a whole increased by 16% on the prior year volumes, which is an encouraging sign that more creditors are looking to High Court enforcement as a means of recovering their judgments.
To have achieved such a large market share in just 6 years is an exceptional achievement and would not have been possible without the commitment and hard work from our team and the support and trust of our clients.
In August we launched a new brand identity and website. Along with the rebrand came our new slogans ‘Fast. Fair. For You.’ which is complimented by the launch of our Fairness Charter and ‘Expertly Resolved’ which demonstrates our ability to successfully resolve matters for our clients using our unrivalled knowledge and expertise.
We have also added to that expertise with a number of internal promotions and the appointment of some excellent external candidates, who have slotted in seamlessly alongside our existing team and will assist us in maintaining the growth we have achieved over the last 6 years.
We look forward to 2021 with hope that a successful rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination programme will allow the country to emerge from the restrictions of the pandemic and return to normality.
With the dedication and commitment that our team have demonstrated over the last year and by continuing to deliver market leading results for our clients, our expectation is that the next 12 months will be another period of significant growth for us at Court Enforcement Services.
I hope you have had a very Merry Christmas and on behalf of everyone at Court Enforcement Services, I would like to wish you and your families a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year. Here’s to a much brighter year for us all in 2021!
